Research - Lexis Language Statistics
The Lexis Project website created interest and attracted sholars and researchers since its inception. The number of 'visitors' to the website has been constantly monitored to record the number of 'hits' each day, week, month and year. The results up to December 2012 are shown below:
- Total number of visits or 'hits' since introduction of the website January 2007 – December 2012: 634358
- Average number of hits daily: 314
- Number of different visitors to the site since its inception: 65276
- Average monthly number of hits per month: approx 8800
Note: visitor statistics were monitored for the duration of the project only.
